How Should I Prepare for My Campus Visit

IMPORTANT: Campus visits are suspended until COVID-19 precautions are lifted. Students can schedule a virtual Admissions Advising Session with one of Beacon’s Admissions, Financial Aid and College Transitions professionals. Prior to the session we suggest you view Beacon College’s updated virtual tour. The tour includes illustrations of our soon to open new dining facility and residence building exclusively reserved for new students enrolling in fall 2020.

What happens next?

If you are traveling from a distance, you will need to schedule flights and make travel arrangements. Both Orlando International (MCO) and Orlando-Sanford (SFB) airports offer convenient travel arrangements for most Beacon College students. Rental car facilities are within walking distance of the main terminals.

Shuttle Services: Lake Limo (ph: 800-448-2808) offers seven scheduled and door-to-door shuttles. Make your reservations online.

At your appointed time, we will greet you at Beacon Hall:

105 East Main Street
Leesburg, FL 34748

What should I expect?

Depending on the number of questions and the information you are seeking, campus visits usually take between 60-90 minutes. The walking portion of the visit takes about 45 minutes and includes a tour of our library, classrooms, writing and mathematics centers, dining hall, and student housing. Please wear comfortable walking shoes.

After our student ambassador finishes showing you around the campus, you will have time to visit with an admissions counselor for further details on Beacon College or for assistance in the admissions process. You might also be able to visit with our financial aid department regarding funding options and scholarships.
