Bundle 3 Months of 1:1 Personalized Virtual Counseling with 10 Days of On-Campus Summer Immersion — and Save 25%

No matter where you plan to attend college this fall, the first few months are the most difficult — and the most critical — to completing your degree. Research shows that more than 24 percent of first-time college students drop out within the first 12 months, and that number is even higher for students with learning disabilities.

Our summer bundle provides current high school seniors with personalized, robust college preparation in the three months before arriving to their chosen college campus. Students participate in both 3 months of personalized online counseling with our expert transition staff (Navigator PREP) and 10 days of on-campus summer immersion and college living practice (College Edge). Through this hands-on and focused college preparation, each student:

  • Builds executive functioning skills and routine development to support academics and independent living
  • Prepares for the increased social and emotional demands of college life
  • Familiarizes with upcoming changes in family communication, self-advocacy, and support resources in their college environment
  • Learns how to manage the realities of college — including roommate conflicts, time management, and more — through hands-on practice
  • Begins focused preparation for the organization and content of general education courses that often trip up college freshmen

Navigator PREP and College Edge work together to build critical college readiness skills and provide the hands-on application needed to internalize them. Your dedicated Transition Counselor works with your family in May to identify the key opportunities and challenges facing your transition to college, then they use that knowledge to develop a personalized strategy for success. This will help you make the most of your time on campus, focus on specific skill areas, and foster awareness.
