Beacon’s community values permeate all areas of campus in order to help students achieve at their highest level — both in and out of the classroom.

One reason transfer students choose Beacon is our bright and sunny location in Central Florida. With warm weather and outdoor recreation throughout the academic year, many students who learn differently find better mental and physical health here in Leesburg. Our campus takes advantage of this location with scenic pocket parks and outdoor recreational spaces for students to hang out, meet friends, or do schoolwork.

Intellectual challenge is at the heart of a Beacon education, but transferring these skills to a career is even more important. Our nine bachelor’s degree programs are intended to prepare our students to find worthy work in today’s global marketplace. Additionally, we encourage students to explore their diverse interests through one or more of our 17 minors.

Beacon’s location in Central Florida, a short distance from Orlando, is of great benefit to our students seeking internships and work experience with major corporations and employers. A few of our career experience partners include Disney, Jet Blue, Southwest, SeaWorld, and JP Morgan, and our Career Center is expanding our networking system with global employers.
