Blazing New Paths
Your contributions, year after year, are essential to elevating Beacon’s advancement on the international stage as the premier institution of higher education for students with learning and attention challenges.
With your support to Beacon and your commitment to our students, you are preparing them for finding worthy work, a life of independence, and being poised to make meaningful and lasting impacts in their communities
Join Beacon’s generous community of supporters by directing your contributions to the funds below where they will have the greatest impact.
The Annual Fund
Thousands of generous friends, alumni, and families support Beacon — and future generations of Blazers — with an annual gift. Their support, and yours, goes a long way to ensuring access to an education that is truly transforming lives.
Unrestricted support through the Annual Fund helps support critical scholarships and financial aid, capital projects, and powerful experiential learning opportunities for students.
Gifts to Beacon ensure our facilities and technology meet the evolving needs of student life. Your support helps boost Beacon’s prestige and gives us the tools necessary to continue our rise in institutional rankings and elevate our reputation for excellence.
Give Today!The Beacon Promise
The Beacon Promise is our $12 million capital campaign focused on meeting the needs of our growing student population and providing the necessary facilities and services they need to succeed. Our campaign is focused on three priorities:
The construction of an $8.5 million, 28,000-square-foot Intramural & Fitness Center is critical to enhancing our students’ physical wellness and quality of life. While physical activity is important for all, it is especially important for Beacon College’s neurodivergent student population.
A $2 million scholarship endowment — aimed at helping Beacon’s most in-need students pay for their education — will make a huge difference in so many young lives that hold incredible PROMISE.
And $1.5 million for academic enhancements to complete our Academic Mall and expand our growing footprint in downtown Leesburg.

Through a decade of service as a trustee and generous supporter, Debbie Resnick is providing opportunities for students to reach their full potential. She was taught at a very young age three things: appreciate what you have, help those who can’t help themselves, and leave a piece of yourself for others to look back on. Debbie is proud to be supporting students each step of the way through their education as her legacy gift supports her passion and lifelong commitment to educating children with learning disabilities.
“Beacon gave our daughter a chance not only to dream her dreams but also to live and fulfill them. When she came to Beacon College, she lacked confidence and independence. She graduated and left with vision, purpose, and drive. I give to Beacon because the college taught our daughter that anything is possible.”
