Featured Partnership
Oak Hill Academy in Dallas, Texas, has engaged Beacon College to strengthen their high school curriculum and further prepare Oak Hill Academy students for life after high school. In addition, a Beacon instructor teaches “Self Discovery” to the junior and senior students two days a week on-site at the Oak Hill Academy campus. This proprietary Beacon course is designed to strengthen skills for postsecondary success and build student awareness to options and life after high school.
Beacon College has truly been that; a beacon to our students, family, and staff. Their expertise in the transition skills arena has bolstered our high school curriculum in a way that will help our students prepare for their next stage of life. In addition, their depth of knowledge in our student population has allowed us to take a deep dive into our structures and systems, so our faculty and staff can serve both students and families in a more comprehensive manner.
