Beacon College Vice President of Admissions Dale Herold addresses educators gathered for Professional Visit Days.
More than 50 educators from 17 states were schooled in the Beacon way during the December session of Beacon College’s Professional Visit Day program.
The session attracts high school guidance counselors and other educational professionals who visit the Leesburg, Fla. campus to kick the college’s tires to see whether America’s first accredited baccalaureate program for students with learning disabilities, ADHD, and other learning differences would be a good college choice for the students they serve.
The two-day workshops, held on December 5 and December 6, featured nine sessions covering the Beacon College model and quality enhancement plan, the learning specialists’ model, transitions to the workplace and career development and other topics.
