About Wil Truit Matthews
Wil serves as Beacon’s Southwest Regional Transition Counselor and is located in Dallas, TX. Prior to joining Beacon, Wil worked at June Shelton School, the largest K-12 school for students with learning differences in the world. There, Wil taught high school Speech, Ethics, and English, and later served as the Dean of Students. Wil’s love for education, particularly Navigator PREP, is fueled by getting to see students’ “light bulb” moments.
