About Dr. Nancy Wood
Dr. Nancy Wood is an assistant professor of career development in the humanities/general education department. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in human services with a specialization in healthcare administration, along with multiple other degrees.
Her areas of expertise include neurodiversity, career planning and development, nonprofit management and leadership, and student-centered pedagogy. Wood has presented at conferences and published articles and books on various topics, including mental health advocacy, marketing for nonprofits, and interdisciplinary approaches to service and therapy animals.
