About the Program
Beacon’s Career Center staff provides up to 12 hours of career coaching to each CIP student throughout the program. Strategic student support is achieved through small group onboarding sessions, weekly onsite observations, and regular, daily check-ins with every student and CIP Partner.
Students learn to become self-sufficient through their practice in goal setting, career exploration, problem-solving, and effective communication — all critical skills for a successful transition into the workplace.
In addition to the professional development and experience of each internship site, the program includes several professional networking events, daily meetings with career center staff, and a community service project to establish the importance of team building and care for our local Leesburg community.
