The Pool Attendant will be responsible for enforcing pool rules, ensuring the safety of students using the pool, maintaining oversight of pool activities, and reporting any safety concerns to security.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a responsible and attentive Pool Attendant to oversee the operations and safety of the Beacon College Aquatics Facility. The Pool Attendant will be responsible for enforcing pool rules, ensuring the safety of all Beacon College students using the pool, maintaining strict oversight of pool activities, and promptly reporting any safety concerns to Beacon College security.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Enforce and maintain all pool rules for Beacon College students using the pool facility.
- Provide strict oversight of pool activities to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
- Enforce time constraints for pool usage according to established schedules.
- Ensure that all Beacon College students using the pool facility sign in and adhere to registration procedures.
- Be physically capable and trained to assist a student out of the pool if necessary.
- Maintain constant observance when Beacon College students or any individuals are in the pool or aquatics facility.
- Report all safety concerns, incidents, and violations of pool rules promptly to Beacon College Campus Safety.
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the pool area as needed.
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay updated on safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Ability to swim proficiently and perform rescues if needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to enforce rules consistently.
- Physical fitness and ability to assist individuals in and out of the pool.
- CPR/AED certification preferred.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends to provide coverage as needed.
