The scholarship assistance helped make a difference for me because I probably wouldn't have been able to afford school without the financial assistance and financial aid that I'm getting. This support has helped me so much.

— Calinda Strayhorn, Sophomore in Humanities

The scholarship enabled me to focus on my studies, to have time to get involved in campus activities, and allowed me to search for my dream internship and now job at Estee Lauder in New York City.

— Alie Sow, Computer Information Systems Graduate

This scholarship helps ease some of the financial burdens that college brings all college students and their families. If I didn’t have the scholarship, I don’t think I would be able to attend Beacon because my financial aid would not have covered all the expenses of being an out-of-state student.

— Zanjay Perkins Anderson, Sophomore in Studio Arts
