Beacon College requires two (2) letters of recommendation for an admissions application. These letters of recommendation demonstrate to our admissions committee that someone (besides you) thinks you are a good fit for college studies — this is an opportunity for us to learn more about the student from someone who knows them well. These letters should be written by a high school teacher, guidance counselor, or other educational professional who can speak to the student’s academic performance, accomplishments, or personal traits and characteristics.
In our holistic review process, we require two letters of recommendation and it is our preference to receive no more than four.
