Find an Internship

There are many ways to find an internship, but it takes preparation and planning.

The first step is enrolling with the Career Center.

Get credit for an internship

To get credit for an internship you’ve taken, you must submit the required forms to Career Development Center before the end of the semester.

You are required to complete 20 hours of an on-campus internship and 60 hours of an off-campus internship.

Internship and Graduation Requirements

  • 20 hours of on-campus experience
  • 60 hours of accepted off-campus experience
  • You can begin your internship during the summer after your sophomore year.
  • You must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher.
  • You must be in good academic standing to apply for an internship.
  • You must be within two semesters of graduating to be eligible.
  • Internships during the school year are permissible if you are a student in good standing.
  • The internship must be an extension of the classroom – a learning experience that provides for applying the knowledge gained in the classroom.
  • You must complete and return required internship forms: Internship Site Information and Internship agreement
