How did you come to work with students who learn differently?
My passion for working with students who learn differently came through my experience teaching middle and high school students who had an Individualized Education Program (IEP) or a Section 504 plan. I quickly realized that the key to be successful in teaching students who learn differently is to have a vast amount of patience and understanding. This helps to form a more fruitful and collaborative learning environment. Through this experience, I learned how to differentiate my instruction to meet the individual learning needs of my students. I am excited to be part of the Beacon family and contributing to the overall success of our students.

Hobbies/Passions:
I love to cook, plan events, travel, and enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. Any day at the beach is a great day for me!  I am passionate about learning, mentoring, and inspiring people to be the best version of themselves.
