How did you come to work with students who learn differently?
I began working with middle school students who learn differently many years ago as a teacher’s assistant. Since then, I have worked with students of all ages who learn differently in various capacities. Prior to working at Beacon College, I helped first year college students achieve their academic and career goals. As an educator, I get super excited helping my students find that “Aha!” moment. It’s pretty special.
Hobbies/passions
I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. I also enjoy deep sea fishing, playing beach volleyball, taking long nature walks, and trying out new coffee shops.
