Campus Safety and Transportation Services

Welcome to the Office of Campus Safety. We are committed to maintaining a safe and pleasant educational environment for all Beacon College students, faculty, staff, alumni, families and guests on campus.

Reported crime at Beacon College is extremely low, and yet it is important for us all to realize that we are not immune from criminal activity. The Office of Campus Safety has a partnership with the Leesburg Police Department to ensure your safety. Our officers provide a full range of services including routine patrols of the campus, parking enforcement, safety inspections, and security escorts after hours. Everyone is encouraged to report incidents of suspicious activity to Campus Safety no matter how trivial it might seem. Our staff will investigate these incidents and take whatever action is deemed necessary. The staff person on duty may be reached 24 hours a day at 352-638-9799.

I invite you all to explore our pages and visit with us personally in the Campus Safety office, located in the Student Services Building at 200 East Main Street.

Complete this form to sign up for the shuttle service.

Students may use the Ride Exchange Board in the Student Center to post individual transportation needs – i.e. students might carpool to and from local airports or students in neighboring cities and towns might arrange to travel together during breaks.

While Beacon College does not endorse any specific outside transportation company, a number of options are available in the Leesburg area. More information can be found here.
