About the Library
The mission of the Beacon College Library is to provide library materials, services, and instruction in an environment that supports the curriculum and mission of the College.
Currently, the Library’s collection includes over 19,000 print volumes, 154,000 electronic book titles, 50 periodicals in print, a variety of premier databases and online resources, 1,000 audio-visual materials, and over 900 items in its specialized Learning Disabilities Collection.
Supplemental materials can be requested through interlibrary loan or acquired through the College’s cooperative agreements with local libraries.
The library offers wireless Internet access, as well as networked computers and loaner laptops for ease of student and faculty research. Accessing the Internet in the library constitutes acceptance of, and agreement to abide by the Beacon College Internet and Acceptable Use Guidelines.
