Ryan McCabe is a business executive and entrepreneur with experience in marketing, operations and strategic planning. A fifth-generation Leesburg resident, he earned a Bachelor of Science in marketing and a Master of Science in entrepreneurship from the University of Florida.
McCabe began his professional career as co-founder of ocoos.com, a web development company serving small businesses. He later joined The Villages, where he served in leadership roles including director of marketing, operations manager and executive vice president of operations. In those positions, he oversaw more than 1,500 employees and managed operations across golf, entertainment, restaurants, publishing, manufacturing, hospitality, agriculture, business analytics and budgeting.
His experience spans organizational growth, operational management and business development. McCabe’s background in leading large and diverse teams, managing complex operations and supporting economic development provides practical business expertise that contributes to the oversight and strategic direction of Beacon College. He is now focusing on the Leesburg community, building single family homes in the area as well as operating Two Old Hags Wine Shoppe.
