John Gill is president and chief executive officer of Quest Inc., a nonprofit organization serving individuals with developmental disabilities throughout Central Florida. In this role, he oversees an organization with more than 700 employees operating across 27 locations and serving more than 1,000 individuals each day.
Gill earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Central Florida and a master’s degree in business administration from the Crummer Graduate School at Rollins College. His professional experience includes leadership positions with Tews Company, Robert Half, Resources Global Professionals, The Walt Disney Company and Darden Restaurants.
His civic involvement includes service on the board of directors of CareerSource Central Florida and prior leadership roles with CBC Holdings and the University of Central Florida National Alumni Association. He also served as chair of the City of Winter Park Vision Steering Committee. Gill has been recognized by the University of Central Florida College of Business as a Notable Knight and by Winter Park Magazine as one of the community’s influential leaders. His experience in nonprofit management, workforce development and organizational leadership supports the work of Beacon College.
