Alfred Moffett retired as founding principal of OB-GYN Associates of Mid-Florida after a distinguished medical career serving the residents of Lake County and surrounding communities. A board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, he practiced medicine for decades and built a reputation for patient care and professional service.
Moffett earned his medical degree from the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine. During his career, he received numerous recognitions from professional organizations and peers for his contributions to medicine. His honors include the Distinguished Service Award from the Florida Obstetric and Gynecologic Society and recognition as a Castle Connolly Regional Top Doctor.
In addition to his clinical work, Moffett has been active in professional and community leadership. His experience managing a large medical practice and working with patients and families across multiple generations provides useful perspective on service, organizational stewardship and community engagement. He contributes those experiences to his role as a trustee of Beacon College.
