Jacob struggled with ADHD throughout his school years with particular problems in math. When the time came to enroll in college, Jacob chose Beacon College where he currently maintains a B+ average.  He’s planning to pursue a career in forensic psychology. Read more

Megan was diagnosed early with dyslexia and ADHD and subsequently attended LD schools where she received customized instruction.  Megan’s parents were happy to discover Beacon College, where Megan could continue to learn in an environment and program suited to her needs.  Read more

Philip’s ADHD was not diagnosed until he was in the fourth grade, and although he struggled to complete schoolwork on time, he remained in the mainstream school system.  After graduation, Philip remained uncommitted to continuing his education, but after a few years, he decided to try Beacon College.  Although only in his first year, he finds the support at Beacon makes all the difference.  Read more

Ryan was diagnosed with both dyslexia and ADHD in elementary school, and subsequently attended a small school for students with LD.  His GPA on graduation from high school was 3.33 but his disability prevented him from getting the scores he needed on the SAT and ACT. Enrolling at Beacon College has enabled him to continue his education at a school that provides the support he needs.  Read more

Tiffani had diagnosed learning disorders in English and math and spent most of her school years in special education classrooms.  When the time came to explore colleges, Tiffani almost didn’t apply.  Then she learned about Beacon College.  After a short delay to bring her reading comprehension up to speed, Tiffani was admitted and is currently in her second year with a 3.61 GPA.  Read more
