What is an official transcript?
A transcript is a comprehensive record of an individual’s academic progress, including transferred undergraduate courses, credit earned by examination, and degrees awarded. The student name will appear on the official transcript as it appears on the College record. Official transcripts include the official seal and the signature of the Registrar.
How to order a transcript
Please complete the following form.
A fee of $5 (paid by credit card) is charged per transcript issued. Transcripts are issued as requested, providing there is no financial indebtedness to the College and the student’s account is not on Transcript Hold. Official transcripts will not be issued until the transcript fee has been submitted.
Official transcripts will be mailed to the address indicated on the Transcript Request Form. Requestors should make sure this address is complete and accurate.
There will be an extra charge if expedited shipping is requested.
Official transcripts may also be picked up at the Registrar’s Office. For release of transcript, one of the following must be presented: valid Beacon College ID card; state-issued photo ID; driver’s license; current passport; military ID.
Credits earned at Beacon College are transferrable, however current Beacon students who are transferring to another college OR visiting college students should always check with the receiving institution to confirm acceptance of earned course credits.
