As we welcome faculty, staff and students back for a new academic year, we are pleased to share an update on the search for Beacon College’s next president.
On Monday, Aug. 24, the college will officially launch the public phase of the presidential search. The Presidential Profile, developed with input from the Beacon community, will be shared broadly as the college and its search consultants at AGB Search begin actively seeking candidates and nominations. As the search moves into its public phase, we invite members of the Beacon community to help identify outstanding candidates. Please consider sharing the Presidential Profile with prospective candidates and encouraging interested individuals to connect with AGB Search. Recommendations for professional organizations, associations and networks that may help expand the search are also welcome and may be shared with any member of the Presidential Search Committee.
The Board of Trustees recently completed appointments to the Presidential Search Committee with the appointment of four representatives from the Beacon community:

- Bryan Cushing, senior instructor of anthrozoology
- Dr. Dana Manzo, vice president of student affairs
- Darryl Owens, associate vice president of communications and engagement
- Dr. Meghann Sallee, assistant professor of psychology and human services
