Beacon College Welcomes Esteemed Regional Leader to Its Board of Trustees
Beacon College is excited to announce the appointment of Ryan McCabe to its Board of Trustees. His decades of leadership experience in business operations, strategic planning, and marketing will provide invaluable insight as Beacon College continues to advance its mission and growth.
McCabe is a fifth generation Leesburg, Florida native with a passion for serving his local community. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and a Master of Science in entrepreneurship from the University of Florida, McCabe began his career as the co-founder of ocoos.com, a web development company specializing in services for small businesses. He then joined The Villages, when he spent more than 10 years as director of marketing, operations manager, and the executive vice president of operations. Overseeing more than 1,500 employees, his role at The Villages included the daily operations of a diverse group of divisions, such as golf, entertainment, restaurants, the newspaper, golf cart manufacturing and sales, hydroponic farming, hotel operations, business analytics, and budgeting.
