About Melissa Mayor

White emotional support dog named Sully in Center for Student Success Melissa Mayor currently serves as a Team Lead Learning Specialist and Academic Advisor at Beacon College. She provides personalized mentorship and guidance to students and teaches the Beacon Experience course, helping students develop skills for academic success. She fosters a supportive learning environment and is passionate about student well-being and resilience, actively involving her emotional support animal, Sully, through the Smiles With Sully program. Previously, she taught for nearly 15 years in public education, creating inclusive classrooms for students with learning differences and mental health challenges.
