Job Title: PSY/HMS 2852 Child and Early Adult Development TA
Position Type: Teaching Assistant Part-Time
Pay Rate and Length: $11/hr. One Semester

Reports to: Dr. Nicki Nance

Position Overview:
Assists in the procedures associated with instruction, classroom management, and academic support

Primary Functions:
Support in-class instruction and student performance.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Takes attendance, makes announcements, works individually with students in class and at the Center for Student Success, makes suggestions for improving class, apprises instructor of any issues that arise, assists with equipment and technology, and has regular office hours to work with individually or in small groups.

Requirements:

  • Student must have successfully taken the class
  • Student has consistently maintained professional demeanor and positivity
  • Student has record of good attendance, punctuality, meeting deadlines, and taking initiative
