Position Overview:
Teacher Assistant for PSY/HMS 2852: Child and Early Development
Primary Functions:
Teaching Assistants enhance the learning experience of students by complementing the activities of the course instructor. TAs receive training under the mentorship and supervision of the Rashad Joiner.
Responsibilities and Duties:
TA duties include the following: attend every class, take attendance, facilitate a discussion section or tutorial, hold weekly office hours, offer help with projects, keep records, distribute and copy reading materials, prepare answer keys or supplementary notes, and add information to Canvas.
Confidentiality
All completed assignments, exams, grades, correspondence, and other information about individual students in the class shall be kept confidential except where the student has given written consent.
Requirements:
General Psychology and Child and Early Development courses.
The employee may be asked to perform duties not listed in the job description but which are considered to be essential to the employment position.
