College Edge and Summer for Success Summer Programs are searching for Residence Directors and Teaching Assistants.

College Edge (June 16-July 3)

College Edge provides students with the critical direction and markers they need to restart – or start – their college journey. College Edge is designed to provide a brief practical approach to college life to enhance student self-awareness, strategies, and application of skills across five major areas that often lead to student attrition at college. Students will leave with not just an understanding of how to improve their college-level skills, but how to apply newly developed strategies to their specific collegiate environment so they enter, or re-enter, feeling confident. College Edge will operate from June 16 – July 3, 2025.

The program is need of support of the below roles:

Residence Director: The Residence Director will work with students in various aspects of student life including assisting in independent/college living workshops and facilitating evening and weekend activities. The Residence Director will be a vital support in day-to-day operations of the program and ensuring a safe living environment for students. Residence Directors report directly to the Residence Life Coordinator and indirectly to the Assistant Director of Summer Programs. Summer Programs require a significant commitment due to the nature of the program and needs of the student.

Teaching Assistant: The Teaching Assistant will work closely with course instructors to deliver educational programming in the workshops, academic courses as well as college/independent living seminars. More so, these positions will work closely with students to evaluate their skills and in and out of the classroom to help course instructors, and indirectly to the Academic Coordinator, Assistant Director of Summer Programming as well as other program administrators.

Summer for Success (July 7-Aug. 4)

Through academic and residential programming, students work towards increasing self-awareness, problem-solving, and social pragmatic skills to proactively determine the optimal college environment.
