College-level courses put significant demands on students’ critical reading and writing skills – including more essays, longer projects and in-depth research. For students who struggle with these projects, this academic transition can have a negative effect on their grades, mental health and adjustment to college life.
Our 8-week online Introduction to College Writing course provides current high school seniors with a dedicated small-class setting to develop the skills needed to plan and execute college-level writing assignments. Students participate in live, online courses plus hands-on activities and independent self-study to learn and perform each stage of the writing process. By the end of this course, each student will have a completed piece of college-level writing; students can use this guided coursework to complete a real-life assignment, college essay or other work of interest.
Course Schedule
Please note that the Wednesday section is full and students will now be registered for Section 2, held March 14 – May 9, 2023 on Tuesdays, 6:30 – 7:45 p.m. Eastern. Register soon to secure your space in this popular course!
