Beacon Academy

Fully-Funded Technology Certification and
Cybersecurity Training for Adults with Disabilities

Beacon Academy’s nine-month Certified Cisco Network Associate (CCNA) training program prepares qualified students for a career in the high-demand and growing field of cybersecurity and network security — fully funded by generous public and private support.

Students are matched with an employer for a paid three-month internship for hands-on experience and connected with our network of employer sponsors and partners for future opportunities — everything you need for a head start in a new, lucrative career in information security.

The program begins in August 2021 and will consist of both virtual and in-person learning based in the Orlando area. We encourage applicants to apply early. Accepted students are notified of next steps in June.

The Results: Hear from a Graduate

Nicole Taylor, a recent graduate of the Exceptional Academy (a partner program hosted in Detroit, MI), speaks of her experience seeking employment. As a disabled veteran with mobility issues, Nicole tried everything to line up a job to support her family with no success. After enrolling in the Academy program – a fully-funded IT training program, she was able to turn her career around in less than 12 months.
