How did I come to work with students who learn differently?
I changed careers from being a zoo animal keeper in 2023 to pursuing a new path in education. Being the parent of two children with learning differences I was drawn to Beacon on a personal level to serve a student population that is in need of dedicated professionals.
Hobbies/Passions:
My hobbies are varied but mostly are in the vein of my passion for wildlife and wildlife conservation/propagation. I breed various species of reptiles, as well as raise quail, chickens, ducks, and fish. Additionally, I hike, birdwatch, fish, and read.
