About Danielle Mitchell

Danielle Mitchell is an instructor in the department of anthrozoology at Beacon College. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English professional writing and a Master of Science in anthrozoology. Her areas of study include the relationship between humans and captive raptors, horse training, ornithology and herpetology, and falconry.

In 2017, she was the U.S. Representative to the International Falconry Festival. Mitchell has published several articles in Hawk Chalk and The Journal, focusing on topics such as squirrel tails, the International Falconry Festival in Abu Dhabi, and NAFA Meet 2019.
