How did you come to work with students who learn differently?
Personally, I have a sister who learns differently. When we first became aware of her learning disability it was a challenge – forty years ago, there were no resources available to her. Having her in my life has given me a totally different perspective about people. I learned how to be more patient, understanding and compassionate towards individuals and people in general.

Working at Beacon College was the first time I worked with students who learn differently. Due to my experience with my sister, I can apply my understanding to Beacon students.

Hobbies/passions
I love to read the Bible and attend Christian Conferences, in addition to learning more about my field through Information Technology conferences. In my free time, I enjoy sunbathing, beaches, movies, traveling, and most importantly, spending time with my grandchildren.
