How did you come to work with students who learn differently?
I began working with students who learn differently in a variety of classrooms: from special education classes at the primary level to other colleges – environmentally based and otherwise – earlier in my career. I have close family members with LD’s, and Beacon’s mission is particularly close to my heart as I desire for them to have the same acceptance and opportunities in life as any other member of society.
Hobbies/passions
Reading for pleasure, aerial acrobatics, weight lifting, scary movies, spending time with my 3 elderly rescued cats, and doing anything near or on the water.
