Wellness Programs
Your personal wellness is determined by the decisions you make about three interrelated key components - your physical wellness, social wellness, and emotional wellness. Physical wellness encompasses good nutrition, healthy physical activities, and taking responsibility for and caring for minor illnesses and chronic medical needs. Social wellness is defined by developing positive, cooperative, interdependent, and healthy relationships with others. Emotional wellness describes an ability to manage and express feelings and demonstrate self-awareness, self-acceptance, and the ability to make good personal choices.

Medical Action Plan (MAP)
The medical action plan is vital in managing the health needs of each student and serves as a point of reference in case of emergency. Each student completes the MAP as part of the move-in/orientation program. Confidential copies are kept on file in Student Services and with the Residential Advisors. The MAP helps students plan ahead for their health and wellness by encouraging them to select local medical care professionals, pharmacies, and emergency contacts.
