Positions currently open are listed below: Job Title: Development Director Qualifications for Appointment: Three to five years experience in institutional advancement in a higher educational or non-profit organization. Demonstrated proficiency with development and prospect research data systems and Microsoft Office Suite 2007-2010. Experience in grant writing and event planning. Strong written and oral communication skills. Commitment to collegiality and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to make requests for support for the College. Knowledge of ADHD and learning disabilities a plus. Examples of Duties: Coordinate prospect research and records using SONIS Development and Pro Prospect software. Identify and pursue foundations and other granting organizations. Coordinate College related fundraising events such as the annual gala, Parent's Weekend and others. Identify sources of funding to support the mission of Beacon College and follow through with appropriate contacts.
