Beacon College proudly offers a unique and rewarding housing system that allows students to live in apartment style housing.

Housing Options

Campus housing options include:

  • Village Apartments — our largest complex is comprised of 1, 2, and 3-bedroom units and houses up to 130 students.
  • Woodward Street Apartments — acquired in fall 2011, this complex offers (12) 2-bedroom units.
  • Market Street Lofts — offers 1 and 2-bedroom units with private balconies.
  • Wedgewood – offers 1 and 2-bedroom units and an attractive courtyard for social activities.

Campus housing offers in-unit washers and dryers, cable and high-speed Internet, and private parking.  All housing properties are within walking distance to all college buildings, and Leesburg’s lakefront parks and public bike path are easily accessible.

Residence Life

Residence Life policies, programs, and services are intended to create connections among residents; celebrate the diversity of our community; and promote inclusion, discovery, and acceptance. Please refer to the Guidelines for Community Living for policies and expectations related to campus housing.

  • We seek opportunities to give a voice to every member of the diverse Beacon College community.
  • We take an educational approach to the many differences among us.
  • We recognize that relationships can be built on common ground.

In campus housing, students are supported by a team of Resident Assistants (RAs), who are undergraduate, live-in members of the Residence Life Staff.  RAs complete a rigorous application and interview process, and they receive on-going training throughout the year.  Resident Assistants agree to abide by and uphold the Beacon College Student Code of Conduct.

RAs are responsible for maintaining an environment of belonging and success for all students.  Resident Assistants hold duty hours nightly and remain on-call midnight to 8:00 a.m. for the unexpected, emergent needs of our residents.  There is also a team of professional level staff who support Resident Assistants and who are on-call during evening and weekend hours.
