Campus Life

The college experience is more than just getting a degree. At Beacon, we focus on creating a safe, supportive environment that contributes to the holistic growth and development of the individual, enhancing the academic experience.

Campus life at Beacon offers a full range of growth opportunities outside of the classroom from arts and intramural sports to leadership development opportunities. Students are given ample opportunities to learn, thrive, and grow.

Campus Life

At Beacon, we know how important it is for students to feel as if college is a home away from home. We strive to provide the most comfortable accommodations and a wide range of delicious, healthy food options to please all tastes.

Student housing includes 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units with in-unit washers and dryers, cable, high-speed Internet (WIFI), and private parking.  The Beacon College Dining Hall, affectionately called “The Chopping Block,” serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily during the week, and meals until 1:00 p.m. on weekends.  Hot and cold meals are provided, and there’s even a self-service option for snacks.

Transportation is available for students who want to go shopping, or visit area attractions, such as Disney World and Universal Studios.

Campus Entertainment and Activities

Students in Beacon enjoy participating in a wide range of activities outside the academic realm. Knowing how important it is for students to have options that appeal to them, all clubs are student organized and change each semester based on current interests. Students have opportunities to participate in sports, clubs, and special events. Leadership opportunities abound on campus so motivated students can gain professional skills while enjoying themselves!

Health & Support Services

Beacon College understands the importance of supporting each student with both academic and personal goals. Beacon is committed to supporting the whole student, including with his/her mental and physical health so that all students may excel both academically and personally.

Campus Safety

While Beacon is a small and exceedingly safe campus, we take the safety of our students very seriously and are committed to providing a secure environment.
