The best way to learn about Beacon is to visit. Your individualized visit will include touring the campus with either a current student or a member of the admissions staff and advising time with an admissions or financial aid counselor. This allows you to gain insight into the services offered by Beacon College and receive an overview of campus life.
Campus visits can be scheduled for Mondays—Fridays (during the academic calendar) between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Summer visits (June-August) will be scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9:00 AM or 1:00 PM only.
Please schedule your appointment in advance to ensure that your specific questions can be adequately addressed.
Can’t visit during the week? Beacon College also hosts a number of “Sunshine Saturday” events, which are half-day programs designed especially for high school or college students and their parents. Upcoming events are scheduled for:
- Saturday, February 8, 2014 (12-4 pm)
- Saturday, March 29, 2014 (12-4 pm)
Events include campus tours with current students, faculty/staff panels and open discussion forums, as well as a departmental fair to visit with professors, learning specialists, and financial aid representatives. RSVP early as spaces are limited and will fill up quickly!

Depending on the number of questions and the information you are seeking, campus visits usually take between 60-90 minutes. The walking portion of the visit takes about 45 minutes and includes a tour of our library, classrooms, writing and mathematics centers, dining hall, and student housing. Please wear comfortable walking shoes.
After our student ambassador finishes showing you around the campus, you will have time to visit with an admissions counselor for further details on Beacon College or for assistance in the admissions process. You might also be able to visit with our financial aid department regarding funding options and scholarships.
