||Philip’s ADHD was not diagnosed until he was in the fourth grade, and although he struggled to complete schoolwork on time, he remained in the mainstream school system. After graduation, Philip remained uncommitted to continuing his education, but after a few years, he decided to try Beacon College. ||Ryan was diagnosed with both dyslexia and ADHD in elementary school, and subsequently attended a small school for students with LD. His GPA on graduation from high school was 3.33 but his disability prevented him from getting the scores he needed on the SAT and ACT. ||Tiffani had diagnosed learning disorders in English and math and spent most of her school years in special education classrooms. When the time came to explore colleges, Tiffani almost didn’t apply. Then she learned about Beacon College. After a short delay to bring her reading comprehension up to speed, Tiffani was admitted and is currently in her second year with a 3.61 GPA. Read more…|
