We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dale Herold to the newly created position of Dean of Admissions and Enrollment. Dale brings with her more than 20 years of higher education experience in the field of college admissions, including more than a decade as Vice President for Enrollment Management at Landmark College in Vermont.
In this new position at Beacon College, Dean Herold will be responsible for leading a team of admissions professionals and collaborating with departments across campus to enroll and retain students who will benefit most from a Beacon College education.
“The Beacon community is privileged to have attracted a person of Dale Herold’s professional caliber and expertise,” stated Dr. George Hagerty, President of Beacon College, in announcing the new appointment. “She is a true national leader in the arena of higher education admissions and enrollment management whose contributions will significantly and enhance our college’s outreach to students with learning disabilities and ADHD.”
Dale Herold is recognized nationally for her significant accomplishments in higher-education admissions, having previously served in leadership positions in admissions and enrollment management at Fairleigh Dickinson University and The Catholic University of America. She has also specialized in recruiting and serving the specific needs of students with learning disabilities, as she comes to Beacon College after spending ten years as the Vice President for Enrollment Management at Landmark College in Putney, Vermont. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from Molloy College in New York and pursued graduate studies in journalism at Polytechnic University in New York.
