These were some of the love stories, songs, and poems that were shared:

Eric Lindquist– “Boyfriend Poem” by Katie

I hope you know how much I really care
every time I think of you my stomach seems to twist
This is why I love you, I’ve made a huge list
the list goes on forever and never will it end
neither will our relationship you’ll always be my friend
not just a simple friend but a special friend at that
I want to spend my whole life with you

Braden Walter- “Thank You” by Led Zeppelin

And so today, my world it smiles, your hand in mine, we walk the miles,
Thanks to you it will be done, for you to me are the only one.
Happiness, no more be sad, happiness… I’m glad.
If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you.
When mountains crumble to the sea, there will still be you and me.

Yale Katz- “The Kiss” by Yale Katz

I want to kiss you so I can hold you safely.
I want to kiss you to give you a chance.
I want to kiss you to watch you dance.
I want to kiss you to watch you fly.
I want to kiss you to make sure our love never dies.
I want to kiss you by the fire.
I want to kiss you because it’s your love that I desire.

EB Newlon– “The Relationship” by EB Newlon

“This made the girl smile, for the couple she had counseled years ago had gone and gotten married and had had kids. Yes, they had gotten divorced, but they were still friends and loved their kids all the same. So even though their lover relationship had not worked out, they still had a relationship. All in all, this was a good lesson in love because it showed that even though you may  not be with that person forever in marriage, you will always and forever love that person for the rest of your life.”

Jeffrey Zysman
“Since My Valentine Got A Computer” by Joanna Fuchs

Since my Valentine got a computer
My love life has taken a hit.
Nothing I say is important
Unless it’s a byte or a bit.
Before she got her new laptop,
Everything was just fine;
Now she says we can’t talk
Unless we both go online.
“But honey,” I said, “I’m attached to you;
Love is what I feel.”
“That keyword isn’t relevant,”
She said, with eyes of steel.

Heather Reed- “I Kissed a Girl and I Liked It”

Your lips are so soft.
Are they as soft as mine?
I want to try it.
I want to know how soft you really are.
Can I touch you?
Can I kiss you so softly?
You may not even know.
I kissed a girl and I liked it.

Katie West“How Do I Love Thee” by Elizabeth Barrett Browning

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of every day’s
Most quiet need, by sun and candlelight.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love with a passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood’s faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints, I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life! and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.
